Qin West Noodle is a chinese restaurant in San Diego, California. It is listed at 4353 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92122, which places it among the local businesses of San Diego that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as noodle shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Qin West Noodle at (858) 352-6219; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 1,173 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in San Diego and suggests consistent service.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The dish was missing ingredients that should have been included. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the owner took my bowl and repeatedly stirred my food with his own chopsticks to prove there were a few nearly invisible pieces of the ingredient inside. I found that incredibly unsanitary and unacceptable. Looking back, I can’t believe I ignored all the negative reviews and came here anyway. That was my mistake. I won’t be returning.

Food is decent but service and cleanliness of restaurant is poor. We get it everything is self service, but even the tables and shelfs to return the trays are dirty and messy

I ordered the liangpi (凉皮), but this doesn’t seem authentic. The noodles are different from traditional liangpi noodles, and the dish was served warm instead of cold. 😟 That said, the service was great, and the staff were very helpful and attentive.

Decent noodles. Tasted authentic and I tried the Lanzhou one. Didn’t realize that it does not come with meat! But still good spice and the noodles were soft. The beans were awkward and not for me but added a different flavor. Cucumbers were a bit bland and dry. Large quantities for it though. Next time I would try the beef soup. It’s a very informal order sit and eat/leave type of place. You bus your own tray into a big trash bin.

Delicious noodles as Qin West Noodle! We ordered the gullin soup, saozi noodle, Chinese MO pork, and the sweet sour baby back ribs. Everything tasted great. We ordered online and waited for about 15 minutes. There’s a dog friendly patio. Very friendly service. Recommend!
